Hello there! My name is Sheril. My lifelong love and dedication to animals have shaped both my personal and professional journey. Starting as a kennel tech in veterinarian clinics to becoming a certified Equine & Canine Sports Massage Therapist, I have traversed various paths within the animal industry. Today, I am proud to be an accomplished entrepreneur, running my own business and making a positive impact on the lives of animals and their owners.

As a young girl, my fascination with animals ignited my desire to work in the animal industry. I started my career as a kennel tech, caring for and tending to the needs of animals in veterinarian clinics. This hands-on experience provided me with invaluable knowledge and a solid foundation for my future endeavors.

As the years went by, my passion for animals led me to shift my focus to training horses. I embraced the challenge and dedicated myself to learning and honing my skills in this new field. However, my heart kept pulling me back to the world of dogs. Recognizing this undeniable connection, I made the decision to return to school and earn my master's level 2 dog training certification from Animal Behavior College.

With the goal of becoming a well-rounded professional, I pursued additional certifications to expand my knowledge and expertise. I am a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (#97423)

Furthermore, I am a certified CPR instructor (#2672) though PetTech. I am prepared to handle any emergency situation that may arise. 

One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was the opportunity to train two Belgian Malinois dogs that served our country. These incredible canines had played a vital role in protecting and serving, and it was an honor to provide them with the care, training, and love they deserved. Taking them home to France was a truly memorable moment in my life.

In addition to my primary business ventures, I also run a 2 year intensive internship program through Woofin' Good Time. All staff are certfied in CPR and as K9 handlers. I want to leave the K9 training world loving and educated trainers.

 We are delighted to introduce Sue Austin, a valuable asset to our team for the past 14 years. Sue's journey with us began as a kennel technician, and through her hard work, dedication, and continuous education, she has worked her way up to the role of Kennel Manager. Moreover, Sue's passion for learning and improving her skills led her to become a certified assistant to our head trainer and owner, Sheril Carr, at Woofin' Good Time.
As a live-on-site manager, Sue plays a crucial role in ensuring that our furry friends are never alone. Her presence provides comfort and companionship to the dogs in our care, creating a nurturing environment for them. Sue understands the importance of constant growth and development in her field. Therefore, she has pursued various certifications and educational opportunities to enhance her expertise and knowledge.
Sue has earned certifications in Pet Saver CPR, K-9 Handler training, and completed the Dr. Dunbar Dog Training Academy's online course, which focuses on understanding dog behavior and implementing effective training techniques. She has also delved into the realms of animal psychology, natural dog nutrition and well-being, pet photography, master class pet training, herbalism for dogs, and animal and pet Reiki.
Sue's dedication extends beyond education and certifications. She possesses a genuine love for all dogs that come through our doors. Her expertise and passion make her the go-to person for potty training, and she excels at creating an environment where dogs can socialize and engage in playful activities.

Dakota's journey with WGT began close to 8 years ago when, after interviewing numerous candidates who couldn't handle a dog with behavioral issues, she walked into my home. To my surprise, my dog Buddy instantly fell in love with her. Recognizing her exceptional qualities, I offered her the position on the spot, and she has been an indispensable member of my household ever since. Our bond has grown immeasurably strong over the years, and I can attest to her honesty, punctuality, and trustworthiness. Dakota currently works at the SPCA. Dakota works with all types of animals and is an on-call 24/7..
